Ms. Derica Turner

Ms. Turner brings a wealth of experience and a heart for service to Waterford Oaks Elementary, joining the campus with over 15 years in education.

A proud University of North Texas graduate, she has worn many hats throughout her career, serving as a general and special education teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, and, most recently, as the Executive Director of Special Education in Cedar Hill ISD.

Passionate about student success and educator support, Ms. Turner is excited to join the Waterford Oaks family. She looks forward to contributing her expertise to amplify the incredible work already happening on campus.
